Auto Gyro Paint Mixer
Radia’s Auto Gyro is the next level in paint can mixers, designed to prioritize user safety and ergonomics. It automatically clamps onto multiple sized containers and uses a gyroscopic motion.
Design Research
Credo visited the locations of several users to conduct user interviews and to observe the user interactions with legacy products. Our research informed our design decisions with meaningful user insights.
Radia stakeholders provided an inspiration deck to convey the desired target for the product styling. Utilizing the inspiration deck, Credo developed a mood board to inspire the visual brand language of the new gyroscopic mixer.
UI/UX
Through assessment of the user journey, Credo provided the client with concepts to streamline loading/unloading the paint cans. We also provided concept layouts to improve the user interaction with the operator control panel.
Industrial Design
Beginning with design research, and centered on user criteria, Credo generated a design sort of options for the client to choose from. These initial designs gained fidelity through a series of reviews and refinements and ultimately provided the direction for the production design.
Mechanical Engineering
Credo provided CAD for all enclosure parts to work with the internal assemblies being developed in-house at Radia.
